Dear Family Promise Supporters,

It is with mixed emotions that I write this message.  Our Executive Director, Marlaina “Nina” Rodriguez will be moving back to her home state of California and therefore her last day at FPCCT will be June 17th.  We are so very grateful for Nina’s commitment to FPCCT for the past four years.  She started with us as a volunteer, moved into a case manager position, earned her Masters Degree of Social Work and has served as our Executive Director for the past year.  Nina has been instrumental in leading FPCCT during the pandemic and expanding the impact of our current Homeless Prevention Program (HPP).

Although there is a definite sadness in my heart when I think of Nina leaving us, I am feeling confident in the plan that our leadership team has developed for us to deal with her departure.  We are asking for your assistance in spreading the word about the open Executive Director position.  The position listing will also be posted on many job sites.  Our hope is that the new Executive Director will be able to work alongside Nina for training purposes and then Nina will move into the Case Manager position.  The next phase of the transition plan will be to have the part-time Case Manager position filled by early June.  Click the link below to download the Executive Director Job Description (PDF file):

In closing, I just want to say how much I have enjoyed working with Nina during her time with us.  FPCCT will be forever grateful for Nina’s hard work and dedication to the families and supporters of FPCCT. We will all miss her tremendously but also realize that you can only keep a true Dodger’s fan away from their team for just so long.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Be well,

Cheryl Liedke
President of the Board of Trustees, FPCCT
